PASSERIFORMES: Ptilonorhynchidae
Ptilonorhynchus nuchalis
Male Great Bowerbird spend a lot of time moving their bower decorations around trying to get its appearance 'just so' to attract a female.
He also performs a parading display to attract his mate. The bower is used only for mating and afterwards the female will build her nest far from the bower.
She will incubate and rear the young alone.
