Kay Parkin

Kay currently has 2,238 photos of 632 Australian bird species on Bushpea.

Kay can sometimes be found in Adelaide, South Australia, where she lives, according to the address on her driver's license. Mostly she can be found elsewhere, looking for birds.

When not elsewhere looking for birds, Kay will be found hard at work in Adelaide, earning money so that she can afford to be elsewhere, looking for birds.

Vik first came across Kay on the Strzelecki Track in the outback of South Australia. Kay was looking for birds. This was fortunate for Vik, because he was too, and Kay told him where he could find some good ones.

Vik next saw Kay several months later in Melbourne, Victoria, when Kay was visiting that location looking for birds. Vik was pleased to be able to show her where she could find a couple.

So good at looking for birds is Kay, that in 2010 she acquired the South Australian record for seeing most species in one year.

Considering Kay's passion for finding birds, Vik thought it would be a good idea if she took photographs of them for Bushpea.

Kay, not really needing, but still appreciating another excuse to look for birds, agreed and is now official Bushpea Photographer number 5.

Fortunately, Kay can monitor her e-mail from places other than the address on her driver's license. To contact Kay, email kay @ bushpea.com.
